Martin R. Kaye was elected to the 澳门六合图库 Board by local school districts in July 2009.
Mr. Kaye served on the West Hempstead Board of Education from 1991 until 2010, serving as both president and vice president. He made a mark at the state level, participating as an active member of the New York State School Boards Association (NYSSBA) in a variety of ways. He has been a legislative liaison for the State Legislative Network since 1998 and a voting delegate at NYSSBA's annual convention since 1992. For his efforts with the association, Mr. Kaye received numerous awards, including certificates of Achievement and Merit, an Award of Distinction, the Developmental Achievement Citation and the Master of Boardsmanship Award.
A Fairleigh Dickinson University alumnus, Mr. Kaye has a bachelor's degree in history and a master's degree in political science. He is the owner of Meridian Industries Inc. and Intercollegiate Designs Inc.
Martin and Barbara Kaye reside in the Village of Malverne. They have been married for 51 years and have four adult children and four adorable grandchildren.
