• College students

More than 50% of Barry Tech graduates continue their education beyond high school. The successful completion of an occupational education course can lead to advanced college standing at a two or four-year college, or technical school.

Like advanced placement courses, the policy for receiving advanced standing or actual college credits differs from school to school. Students must be accepted under the application process required for admission to the specific college. In addition, the student may be required to take a placement examination before credit or advanced standing is granted.

We currently have college articulation agreements in the following courses:
    • Auto Body - Auto Collision Center
    • Automotive Technology
    • Aviation Operations
    • Biotechnology
