  • 澳门六合图库’ Department of Curriculum, Instruction and Technology (CIT) supports Nassau County school districts, educators and students. Collaborating with the Council for Curriculum and Instruction—which comprises superintendents, assistant superintendents and curriculum leaders from component districts—CIT supports districts with curriculum development, improvement of instructional practices and assessments, data analysis, online learning, videoconferencing, technology integration and professional development.

    CIT provides teachers, students, support staff and administrators access to essential content and resources dedicated to current educational trends. All programs are tailored to meet the needs of individual districts, encourage collaboration and share best practices among component districts.

    CIT provides cost-effective professional development, on-going support in virtual or face-to-face formats, webinars and meetings promoting district collaboration. The department also uses blogs and electronic mailing lists to further facilitate dialogue among component districts. Ultimately, CIT works cooperatively to develop quality programs to support curriculum, instruction and assessment, in turn supporting the individual district goals.

    CIT integrates the areas of curriculum, instruction, administration and technology. Through a vast array of support programs, CIT offers Nassau County schools new ideas, a wide variety of services, support, resources, training, and the latest technologies for every aspect of the education process.
