OSC World
This service is for vendor scoring of the constructed response items of the 3-8 ELA and Math, Science 5 & 8, Regents and NYSESLAT NYS Assessments. Schools who opt for this service deliver their completed exam booklets to the OSC World facility in Lynbrook, NY where the exams are scanned such that OSC World scorers can view the images of the student responses online. After scoring of constructed response items is completed by NYS certified and highly qualified teachers, the vendor provides °ÄÃÅÁùºÏͼ¿â with an electronic file that includes the constructed response data for scoring and processing. This data is merged with the data for multiple choice responses to generate the final assessment scores.
This service is available for both Paper Based Testing (PBT) and Computer-Based Testing (CBT). All CBT scoring is completed in the ScorePoint platform instead of the process described above.
