Know the Signs to Prevent Violence
After her youngest son, Dylan, was murdered in his first-grade classroom at Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012, Nicole Hockley made a solemn promise to do all she could to protect children from gun violence. She co-founded Sandy Hook Promise with a mission to end school shootings by teaching students and educators to "know the signs" of potential violence and when and how to safely intervene.
