FYI Online Resource Ordering

  • The 澳门六合图库 School Library System (NBSLS) provides a variety of subscription-based online resources to component school districts. NBSLS will incorporate this service as a component of its Library Automation and Resource Sharing Service. NBSLS can provide the greatest cost savings for libraries, complete with current information from vendors, and statewide negotiated pricing. 
     

    Ordering Information & Procedures

    We now use an ordering system called Library.FYI Menu - located at

    Request Form to Add/Remove Individuals or Access Levels in the FYI Menu System

     

    To request people to be added to the system or to be removed, please use this .

    Directions:

    • The home page has a list of vendors and products.  

    • Scroll to the vendor and product(s) you are interested in and click on the product(s). 

    • This will lead you to a page that has the product, description and price. 

    • To select the product for purchase, click on the words “Add to [name of your school]” (located at top of the page) and click Add to Cart.  

    • Your District Cart Total will be included on the side. 

    Important Info:

    • At checkout, do not  submit your order until every school in the district has entered their orders (added to the cart). 

    • Once your cart is submitted or “checked out” - We will place a spreadsheet with your order into your Google Drive. 

    • This spreadsheet will require a signature or your order will NOT be processed. 

    • The signature sheet can be emailed to library@nasboces.org, it can be faxed to 516-608-6621 or it can be mailed to 1 Merrick Ave, Westbury, NY 11590

    • At present, the only person who can check out is the liaison. Please contact us if this needs to be changed.

    Additional Assistance:

    • Virtual office hours where you can drop in and ask questions will be available from May 15th - June 30, 2023 - Please review your email for the Zoom Link, or email library@nasboces.org 

      • Monday and Wednesday from 3:00 pm - 3:45 pm

      • Tuesday and Thursday from 8:45 am - 9:30 am 

    • There are workshops where we will review step by step how to use the new system listed in you can sign up for if you prefer. ()

    • Please refer to the directions listed in your district Google drive folder or attached here (Directions to using FYI.Library Menu)
    • This video is a 10 minute video demonstrating how to use the system.
